What is an Electrical Installation Condition Report?
It is a report document thay refers to the in service condition of the electrical installation of the building/s.
Following the completion of a thorough test and inspection of the electrical installation a detailed electrical installation condition report is provided.

FUSE has developed the content of the report (based on the IEE WIring Regulation BS7671 form) over several years to provide an objective conclusion on the condition of the installation and not an opinion.

The purpose of the report is to establish, as far as reasonably practicable, if the electrical installation is in a satisfactory condition for safe and continued service. The outcome of the condition is defined by the parts of the installation that do not comply with BS 7671:2008 Requirements for Electrical Installations. Non compliance with BS 7671: 2008 (2011) is identified by the procedures of inspection and testing. Each recommendation code is wherever possible - based on the recommendation codes for domestic and similar electrical installations; published by the Electrical Safety Council.
To indicate where action is required; an accurate assessment is provided to define such and to achieve compliance with BS 7671: 2008 (2011).
